OBTAINING a TUNISIAN PASSPORT
(FIRST TIME PASSPORT & NEW BORN)
Requirements*:
Application form duly completed and signed next to the red rectangle.
Copy of Tunisian Birth Certificate (Must Register the Birth first, ONCE you complete the registration THEN apply for The Passport
We will not accept both applications at the same time. ( Application will be rejected ).
Two Copies of both Parents IDs ( Tunisian C.I.N if one of the parents is Tunisian or both )
Two copies of a U.S. birth certificate or U.S. passport.
Two Recent Passport Photos (2”x 2” inch White Background )
Parent's Authorization Form — signed by the parent and notarized + Copy of the parent's Tunisian National ID (C.I.N.) both sides.
Application Fees 32$ (19$ Passport Fees + 8$ Parent's Authorization form Fees + 5$ Birth Certificate Fees)
(MONEY ORDER ONLY PAID OUT TO THE EMBASSY OF TUNISIA)
A prepaid Express Mail return envelope with your exact full name and complete mailing address. (Must be Paid for in advance)
CURRENT PROCESSING TIME: 4-6 WEEKS (WORKING BUSINESS DAYS)
EXPIRED PASSPORT RENEWAL
(Tunisian passport can be renewed six months before its expiration date)
Requirements*:
Application form duly completed and signed in the red rectangle.
The Expired original Passport must be sent along with the application, otherwise, it will be considered a lost Passport Application.
To keep the old expired Tunisian passport please fill up the “PLEDGE FORM“
Two copies of Tunisian ID Card C.I.N both sides (if lost, damaged, expired, or over the age of 18 and never had an ID please fill up the C.I.N Pledge form, 8$)
Two copies of a recent Tunisian birth certificate even if born abroad, (You can obtain a Tunisian birth certificate from the Embassy. The fee is 5$).
(We do accept scanned copies)*
Two Copies of Permanent Resident Card or proof of legal status in the USA. (Pending Green card cases, will require a copy of the USCIS receipt notice)*
Two copies of the U.S. passport and copies of the entry stamps to Tunis, For those who have U.S. citizenship.
Two Recent Passport Photos. (2”x 2" White Background) Old photos will be rejected*
Employment Letter ,
Business license for Business owners.
Enrollment Letter , The Form I-20 and a copy of the F-1 visa (for students only).
Proof of elementary school enrollment or Grade report (for Elementary school students).
Parent's Authorization -Fee: 8$ ( Minors only under the age of 18) and Copies of the parent's Tunisian ID (C.I.N.), Form to be notarized with parent's signature.
A prepaid Express Mail return envelope with your exact full name and complete mailing address. (Must be Paid for in advance)
If your civil status has changed from single to married in The United States you must register your marriage “Application’s link” Submit the marriage registration application and fees 8$ along with the Passport Renewal Application.

Students (18 YEARS AND OLDER): 19$ Passport Fees,

LOST PASSPORT APPLICATION PROCESS
(Application will require The Minister of Interior’s approval and may take a longer process)

Two Copies of The Tunisian ID Card C.I.N both sides ( if lost, damaged, or expired or over the age of 18 and never had one please fill up the C.I.N Pledge form -Fee: 8$ )
Parent's Authorization Fee:8$ ( for Minors only under the age of 18), and Copies of the parent's Tunisian ID (C.I.N.), Form to be notarized with parent's signature.

PROCESSING TIME UP TO 6 MONTHS
All applicants have to provide a self-addressed prepaid Priority Mail Express™ (Overnight) envelope from the United States Postal Service so that their passport may be mailed back once the new Passport has been issued.
Your passport will be shipped exclusively by United States Postal Service (USPS).
